Nutberry Ltd is a privately owned, British
company, founded in 1978. Nutberry was involved originally with the design of TDE's
together with Flogates Ltd, now Vesuvius, when it was realised that standard coil springs
were very vulnerable to the temperatures typically reached during the casting process. The
Nutberry TDE's were designed to accommodate higher temperatures in order to reduce the risk
of "finning" which
could lead to a breakout and to perform greater number of heats, reducing the overall cost
to the steel plant.
Nutberry
Ltd is registered to BS EN ISO 9001 by the independent certification body, National
Inspection Council Quality Assurance Limited (NQA), for the manufacture of high temperature
gas springs, precision roll form bellows (single and multiple ply configurations), edge welded
bellows, general machining and design work.
